By creating a TradeWrite AI account or using the TradeWrite AI app or dashboard, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, your company. If you do not agree, do not use TradeWrite AI. TradeWrite AI is operated by aimdev.
What TradeWrite AI does
TradeWrite AI lets a tradesperson capture photos and a note (typed, or dictated and transcribed on-device) for a job, and turns that into a branded inspection report or quote — optionally rewritten into professional English and translated by AI for workspaces on a paid plan.
You are responsible for what you send to clients
AI-polished or translated text is generated automatically and may contain mistakes — including mistranscribed detail, mistranslation, or an inaccurate rewrite of what you meant. A report may be relied on by a client or an insurer. You must review the content of a report before sending it; TradeWrite AI and aimdev are not responsible for decisions made based on a report you did not review.
Workspaces, roles, and admin responsibility
TradeWrite AI is used through a company workspace. An admin manages team membership, billing, and can see every report the workspace's workers create. A worker can capture reports for the workspace they're an active member of. Your company's admin is responsible for managing who has access to your workspace.
Acceptable use
- Use TradeWrite AI only for legitimate trade/inspection work.
- Do not upload photos or notes you do not have the right to capture or share (e.g. of a site or person without appropriate consent).
- Do not attempt to scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or otherwise disrupt the service.
- You are responsible for keeping your account and sign-in credentials secure.
Subscriptions and payment
Some features (AI-polished/translated text, PDF report generation) require your company's workspace to be on an active paid plan. Plans are bought inside the TradeWrite AI mobile app as an auto-renewing monthly subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, at the price the store shows (GST included). Store subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled in your store account; refunds for store purchases are handled by the store under its own policy. Subscriptions bought on this website before September 2026 were processed by Stripe and continue until cancelled from the workspace's billing page. Pricing and plan terms shown at the point of purchase apply.
Privacy
Your use of TradeWrite AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we process and your rights. To request deletion of your data, email [email protected].
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
TradeWrite AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, aimdev is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, TradeWrite AI — including loss arising from a report that was sent without being reviewed, or from a service outage. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including non-excludable consumer guarantees under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act where they apply).
Changes and termination
We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the change. We may suspend or terminate accounts or workspaces that breach these Terms.
